BIRKA CARGO INVESTS IN A NEW VESSEL FOR CHARTER TO HOLMEN PAPER AB
Birka Cargo has agreed with First Olsen Shipping Invest A/S to buy the Ro/Ro
vessel m.v. "Norcliff". m.v. "Norcliff" have a dead weight of 6.299, Finnish
ice class 1A and is built 1995.
Birka Cargo has at the same time agreed a 5 year charter for the vessel
to Holmen Paper AB. The delivery, and the start of the service for Holmen, will
be in the beginning of year 2007.
The service will most likely be from Braviken and Hallstavik to Terneuzen
and Chatham
